Throughout June, we’ll be highlighting the men and boys whose stories, milestones, and presence continue to leave a mark on our family and community.

Jeffrey is a devoted husband, loving father, respected nursing leader, Army Reserve Captain,
and a man whose character shines through every aspect of his life. His journey is a
testament to the values that Juneteenth represents: determination, opportunity, progress,
and the continued pursuit of excellence.
For more than seventeen years, Jeffrey has dedicated his life to healing others. As a nursing
supervisor and operating room professional, he has touched countless lives through
compassion, skill, and leadership. His hands have comforted patients, guided colleagues,
and restored hope during some of life’s most challenging moments. His career is not simply
a profession—it is a calling.
Yet among all his accomplishments, Jeffrey’s greatest title is Father.
As the proud father of Jasmine and Giselle Beamon, he demonstrates daily what it means to
lead by example. Through his love, encouragement, wisdom, and unwavering support, he
helps his daughters pursue their dreams and develop the confidence to become
extraordinary young women.
Jeffrey’s partnership with his beloved wife, Cassie Barnes Beamon, reflects a relationship
built upon love, respect, teamwork, and shared service to others. His story is also one of commitment to education and lifelong learning. From Shaw
University to East Carolina University, from nursing degrees to advanced certifications and
graduate studies, Jeffrey has continually invested in his growth so he could better serve
others.
Beyond his professional achievements, Jeffrey enjoys life’s simple blessings—family travel,
fishing, cycling, classic cars, and creating memorable meals as the family’s celebrated Grill
Master. Juneteenth reminds us of the sacrifices and triumphs of those who came before us. Men like
Jeffrey honor that legacy by building strong families, serving their communities, pursuing
excellence, and creating opportunities for future generations.
Perhaps Jeffrey’s personal motto says it best:
“The only things you can control are your actions and reactions.”
He lives those words every day—with integrity, humility, strength, and grace.
Today, the Barnes Blow Family proudly salutes Jeffrey Beamon.
Thank you for your leadership.
Thank you for your service.
Thank you for your example.
Thank you for being a loving husband, devoted father, compassionate healer, and honorable
man.
May your life continue to inspire those around you, and may lifes’ richest blessings remain
upon you and your family.
Happy Father’s Day, Jeffrey Beamon.
Pearl for the Day:
A father’s greatest legacy is not what he leaves behind for his children, but what he leaves
within them—faith, character, love, and the courage to serve others.
