Throughout June, we’ll be highlighting the men and boys whose stories, milestones, and presence continue to leave a mark on our family and community.
It is such an honor to recognize and give praise to a wonderful husband, friend and father of my children. Roger has been an ever expanding ray of sunshine to me and for my family for many decades. He never shies away from demonstrating his faith in positive ways to encourage others. The sense of dedication and sense of humor make each day an enjoyable journey.
As we have traveled this cycle of life together for 51 years, Roger has been steadfast in doing the right thing, taking care of his family and trying to help those around him. It is amazing to reflect on the positive impact he has had and continues to have throughout the community, with church, business, his beloved fraternity, Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc., and impacting the lives of other people for the better.
Happy Father’s Day to a true warrior who has overcome so much to continue to serve.

Happy Father’s Day – I thank God for giving me cousins that know how to make me smile. I have 1991 flashbacks of moving to Columbia MD. At that time you were into real estate sales, from your efforts I ended up in a home that still is keeping me smiling as I sit on the couch watching TV today.
