Throughout June, we’ll be highlighting the men and boys whose stories, milestones, and presence continue to leave a mark on our family and community.

How can I find the words to express how deeply I still miss you?
Thank you for always being there for me, for loving me, guiding me, and shaping the woman I am today. I am forever proud to be your youngest daughter, and forever grateful for the time we shared – time that ended far too soon. But it left me with memories and lessons that will stay with me forever.
You taught me not to stress over the unimportant things, to laugh even at myself, to stay joyful, and to keep God at the center even when family and friends test my patience. You taught me how to change my own tires, and you left me your tools – a reminder that I am capable, strong, and prepared, which I still treasure.
I carry your sense of humor, your quick wit, your organizing skills, and your entrepreneurial spirit everywhere I go. I honor the heritage you spoke of so often, and I am still learning, still growing, still carrying your legacy forward.
Daddy, your love still guides me. Your lessons still shape me.
And your presence still lives in everything I do. I honor you.
